i replaced the solenoid as well as the starter with one i know that works

did you get all the connections back in the right places??? and do you have a test light handy cause slappin' parts now won't fix it..you need to troubleshoot it and narrow the problem down..if you have the test light I can steer you in the right direction...no more assuming the parts are good...you either have a open circuit somewhere or voltage drop due to high resistance in a cable or connection or part......the only way to solve this is troubleshoot it properly so if your ready I can help

Finally got her started battery was dead and even while jumping it didnt start it, put new battery in and she started thanks all for your help

..that was my first question too you in this thread....how were you sure the battery wasn't dead???....a simple flip on of the lights without the jumper cables would have indicated a low charge or no charge on the battery.....if it started to crank when you hooked a jump vehicle to it right there should of been your clue it was a batt issue but first you stated it cranked now you stated it wouldn't when jumped?..you know why it didn't cause the battery has a short/open circuit in one of the plates..its probably sulfated to where it shorted a plate connection out inside the batt

yeah youre right thanx for the help i figured if i jumped it it wouldn't matter if the battery was dead or not noobie assumption thanx alot!
