Default Cam in a 94 GT

I am planing to change out the cam, lifters, heads, exhaust headers, upper and lower intake. Am i going to have to pull the engine to do the cam or can iput the cam in with the block in the car still? I know id have to pull teh radiator, but not sure aboutthe a/c condnesor, if it can be pulled a little to the side or not. Just not lookin to mess with going under and pullin thetrans. Still tryin to save up some cash forthe headers and intake thought lol

Best cam for a 94/95 is the Steeda #19 cam. It may not be as aggressive as some like, but at least it works with the damn ECU, even though my car has a light cam that works with no problems, I'm thinking of getting one myself simply because I don't know exactly what cam I have, and the car does tend to do weird things from time to time.

if it were me I'd save your money until then and do all the upgrades at once.....if your going with the AEM stand alone computer and plan to tune it yourself then read up on it and understand all the scalar tables and what changes to each will affect

Dude to understand those tables you better go to a damn college class and learn about automotive ecu programming. There's just so much that it's not even funny.

As long as you remove the radiator I'm 99% sure you can remove the cam with the engine in the car. I pulled my engine to do my heads and cam and I'm very happy I did. At first I didn't think it would be worth it but it payed off huge.

Ain't that the truth!! you really have to understand the spark tables for one and at what rpm range to increase the advance and by how much and there are min max values and you can even go in and tune the car for open loop operation in the warm up phase and how to tune the act table vs ect temp......and how to tune the car at WOT.....these are just some of the tables ....there are alot more...soon enough I'll be tackling this chore!!! but you need to adequately understand efi and how it works cause you can control/program such things a s injector pulse width and you can tune the mass air fuel calculation tables.....SAMSEED was knowledgable on the tweecer and addermk2 on the mega squirt speed density tuner

i left the engine in, but i went ahead and pulled the condensor with the radiator

if i did it again i would just pull the motor, it'd be so much easier

and i agree with mjr46, do all the upgrades at once
