how hard do yall think this would be to do?
say on a 94 95 gt. i current have flowmasters going to the rear.. but i want side exhaust and i wanna keep the sound i already have. so instead of buying the mufflers with the inlet/outlet on the same side.. i wanna copy the set up in this picture.. would there be any clearance issues? since its still got about the same amount of tail pipe..i'm thinking it'll sound the same as it does with rear exit tail pipes. my exhaust unbolts so i can do the welding ina garage. i justneed to find some pre-bent pipes. where would i find them?

it will sound about the same outside of the car but you will hear it more when inside just because the fact that the pipes end up closer to you and not facing the complete opposite direction. as greenstreak said you may run into subframe connectors but it looks like the bend just before the exhaust tip would go right around them. any muffler shops could make your pipes though(midas, ect). and if you cant get it done that way then go up to your auto store and buy the flex pipes they sell.

is the flex pipe safe? i thought about doing that. but i figured it would blow off since it has alot of pressure going thru it. i should just clamp them or can u weld those flex pipes?

ive never tried welding them. i helped a friend put flex pipe in his v8 S10 and he had no problems with it using clamps. its usually worth a try but quality wise youd be better off having a shop make your pipes. you might save some money with flex pipe though.
