SN-95 spindle/hub question...
Ok... So I bought a front SN-95 setup (everything), off of a 211,000 mile car. I have no intention of just throwing it on and hoping for the best, so tonight I tore it down to see what I have to work with.
That's about the time I discovered the non-servicable hubs. With the discs and brakes and everything off the hubs turn smooth and are nice and tight. But, I'm a bit worried about the heinous miles that were on the car I bought them off of. Should I just replace them anyhow or wait and see? I'm going to tear it all down for cleaning and painting anyhow. Just wondering if I should spend the extra $140 right off the bat or not.

put the spindles, bearings, and rotors on (no brakes) and bolt the wheels on, check for excess play.
at 211k miles you can pretty much assume that those are NOT the stock bearings.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. There appears to be freash anti-seize on the caliper bracket bolts and pins too. So, it looks like somebody was maintaining the car, at least a fair bit.
