well man i found a friend that does alot of ford work and he said hes got a set of damaged brodix heads that need some work. one of the heads needs 2 guides and cleaned up and the other needs alittle welding which i am extremely good at aluminum welding and a couple gudes and 1 new seat. 100 bucks good deal?????their the TF 1 std. I was looking on their website and they say no less that 11.5 min compression??? now can i puch it lol and go lower how will this effect my performance?

Those are excellent heads but they are to big for what you are doing. I'd fix them and sell them to get what you do need or fix the short block to go with the heads.

Track 1s are race heads, I have no idea, put them ebay and see what happens. That or put 12:1 pistons and a big cam in your engine.

I honestly didn'tthink about them until I read another thread was RHS heads. If you get Muscle Mustangs andFast Fords magazine they put them on a 331with a Trick Flow intake and cam and it made good power. Trick Flow heads are priced right and would make good power. RHS andAFR are also good heads.

180+ for a 347. As far as combustion chamber size it depends on how much compression you want to run and if you are going be N/A, blower, or NOS.

You need to look in the 200cc range.

Volume does not mean everything, because the runner length could be different.

Run a dished piston, low combustion chamber.

I would run AFR 205cc heads on a 347, but they are pushing 2k

well i donty wanna run NOS or boost. I like NA its fun but, what ype of compression would i run with a 180 cc and 9.1 piistons?
