Default Parasitic Battery...HELP!!

OK....New battery, woke up this morning and it was dead...

I disconnected the negative cable, and set a multimeter to attach one end on the cable, one on the neg battery post

I get a reading of .16

Is this too much? Do I have a drain?? I have pulled every fuse out and there is no change...

The culprit may be my alarm, but I disconnected every plug off the alarm box and still no change.....

HELP!

OK.....Found the circuit......it was fuse 8!

That controls the:

Courtesy Lamps
Key Chime
Glove Lamp

Engine Lamp
Power Mirrors

So far, I unplugged:

Courtesy Lamps
Key Chime - I unplugged the grey plug whos wire went directly to the key.....nothing
Glove Lamp - Pulled the bulb.....nothing
Radio - Disconnected the wire harness......nothing
Engine Lamp - I have none.....but I cannot find the wire, any suggestions?
Power Mirrors

I am going back out there.......let me know if you have any ideas!

The plot thickens... Check under your hood insulation (if you have it) and see the wires are possibly laying against a painted surface. It's a long shot, but it could happen. The light on my '91 is on the driver's side, I think about 15" up from the windshield edge of the hood.

That's what I'm saying. The hardness for the lamp is under the insulation on the stock hood. I have no idea where the other end goes. Its 2 small wires, and I think the stock connector is gray.

I found that harness......nothing connected to it, and it does not seem to be drawing any power....

I am at a total loss......

removing the fuse and hose blowing off...= just coincidence.......and the .16 in amps is 160 milliamps..indicates a small draw but not enough to drain a battery overnight.......when you hooked the ammeter on the neg cable to battery post it was in series right??? and all doors and trunk and lights off while doing the test right???? series means one lead to neg cable and othe lead to batt post... and all you got was .16 right??

Yes.....I put the ammeter in a series....all the lights in the car were off, and I pulled each fuse one by one.

The multimeter wasn't really changing at all....so I tried the test light

With the light,I pulled the #8 fuse, and the light went out...When the fuse was in, the light would stay on......

So I think that is a good indication that it is something on the #8 circuit....do you agree?
