crazy headlights, need help

the alternator is brand new. when i fried the alternator and blew the fuses is probley when it happend. the positive cable had been burnt and the plastic caseing had melted and caused it to ground out and thats what fried everyhing. ill look into that dimmer switch tommorow.

ya..i had the same issue as ur...turns out i was just look around in there one day n found this...the switch had gone bad...n got hot/melted it..

ok im trying to pull that out right now, could someone quickly tell me how you pull that damn *** on the light switch??? i dont see a screw and it wont pull off.

hey i got it out and mine is fried the same way yours was. ive got one on the way. the dealership wanted 50$ for that little plug i went and got it for 15$ at autozone. would any of you happen to have a wireing diagram for that little plug? the red positive wire on there is crossed with two othere wires. one is blue cant remember the other but im thinking that little rig job isnt helping matters. i cant find any diagrams anywhere. thanks for the help bro.

ya mines gettin ordered pretty soon here so i can get it on before i get it outta winter storage...but i havnt got it yet so i cant help ya too much..it should just be same color wire to same color wire..just go far enuf back into the dash to where nothings crossed..n start connecting soldiering, an sealing the wires together..good luck

the wires are held in place with little clips that you have to push on then they slide out. order it from autozone or some other parts place screw the dealership they are outrageous.
