I just got done changing the intake and stuff on my 88 vert. now the injectors have a nipple on the end on the 19psi there orange nipples ok now they were all like dry rotted and cracked but still good enough to use till i can get new ones except one. Now i took the nipple off the other injectors that came with the new intake. The ones that came off my 88 were like square shaped with a small hole the ones that came with the new intake was off a 92 gt now there nipples were little more rounded like a donut with a slightly wider hole if i used that one in pleace of the broken one will it make a difference on how it runs? Will it run leaner or richer? well the motor is back together and i broke a few dry rotted vacume lines wich im getting tomorrow. The car runs like it has a cam and it smells real rich well the vaccumm line that broke runs to the fuel regulator and egr valve and canister

I had the same problem with it running too rich, im not sure what comes stock forthe injectors on the 88 but mine is a 91 and they are 24s. I had to replace all the injectors cause i didnt know which 1 was leaking after i replaced all with ones from a 95 gt, problem went away. Does ur car have a hard time starting when the car is warm like going to the store and then trying start again? Mine also ran like it had a cam but with the newish injectors it went away.
