The main symptom, I was driving, Its lost power and died, or I lost power and when I hit the gas no power then stall.

Puttering when you hit the gas

Get the plate and EGR simulator off ebay. Dont get ripped for some cheap resistors and a piece of $.90 cost material

just take the egr off and see if the pintle is seated..if egr is present at idle...idle will be rough and or stall depending on how far the valve is open...you can use a vaccum gauge to test it to...by slowly applying vaccum to valve and when it starts to open the car will roun rough at idle and or stall it out once valve reaches full open

^ he's right ya know....

If you don't need emissions, you really don't "need" EGR. It just reduces NOX emissions caused from high exhaust temps.
