03' cobra motor in a fox...BEAST
Has anyone ever put a 03' cobra motor/trans in a fox. I think that would be faster than a fox w/331 stroker. For the folloing reasons:
Put a pulley, chip, and tune. Full exhaust, and TB, and other mods and you can make probally 600hp, aslo dont forget the 6-speed trans... possibly still pass smog(good for us cali fellows). The fox is light(3000lbs).The fox is a good platform for this kinda stuff. Also I think it would be cheaper/more durable than doing a 331. What is your guys imput on this ie. will the motor fit, other items need...etc. I think that would be freakin sweet to do. whats your imput???

there are kits to swap a t56 into a fox. i think asking 600 hp out of a cobra engine is a litte high by just swapping pulleys and chip. you can probably get close to the same amount of power out of an NA 408, but spend less money and have to do less custom fab.

now for the 331, buy a shortblock, buy your parts, drop it into your stock k member, bolt it up to your stock tranny, plug all the wires from the stock harness, bolt up your stock drive shaft, and pay the mechanics for labor. whalah. now thats a lot of time and money u just saved isnt it. NOW GIVE ME THEN\ NUMBER TO YOUR DRUG DEALER CAUSE U HAVE SOME PRETTY GOOD ****!!!
