Default how to smooth ground effects???

ok guys i want to smooth the ground effects below the door. i dont want it to say mustang gt on it and i dont want to buy the cervini's cobra ones cuz they are $400 and i still want the scoops. i have seen it done on the lx front bumpers but never on the ground effects. has anyone done this or has experience on this subjuect. any help would be great. thanks

you saying because its bondo, or because its on ground effects?

it wont crack if done right

you could always try fiberglass...

yea cuz its on the ground effects. i definitely want it done right cuz i dont want to redo them. a friend of mine works in a boby shop and told me that the plastic that ford uses is a pain in the a$$ cuz its hard to get stuff to stick to it. have you seen this done before?

I prefer Evercoat over Bondo so maybe you just have had bad experience with bondo, that doesnt mean all plastic fillers would crack

yea me too. i actually thought about the tiger hair. i might just experiment on a junk one that i have laying around to see what works.

you'll probably end up using a thin coat of filler to get it nice and even and smooth but as long as its really thin you will be fine,
