An E-cam is smog legal in Cali. AFR 185's would be great for a 347. Expect to notch your pistons with those heads. You should also look into some Trick Flow Twisted Wedge R heads. You dont have to notch your pistons with most OTS cams when using these,

Yes, there is newer technology out there, but the ford letter cams are still tried and true. See what the guys who are making 800hp with an F-cam have to say. An E-cam is a very decent street cam and makes power to 5500.

Not everyone has $300 to spend on a cam. I wish I did though.

If your going to stay 50 state legal you need a head and intake that is also 50 state legal. The standard TW head and the Street intake will pass smog. Other than those 2 items you will not have an E.O. number for the smog test.

if he has the money to buy the heads and buy an intake you would think they could save the extra couple hundred dollars and do it RIGHT

JayAllen, he is a member here. But be forwarned dont waste his time untill you have the money. He is too busy and has too many customers to deal with tire kickers. I'm not saying he is rude cause he's not, he is a great guy to deal with.
