RE: 255s on a Pony rim
Same with my friends 5.0. His is lowered and he runs 255's all around and it rubs only when he turns the wheel completely.

yep!! a friend of mine did it but on turns it'd rub occasionally the inner on the tail pipe cause he had 2 1/2 inch pipes

RE: 255s on a Pony rim
fronts will rub^^^^^ you are right even with 245's on front if you go lock to lock.. turning radius will be reduced the wider you go if you desire for rub not to occur

You'll be fine on the rear, that's all i put on when i had pony rims. I even have 2 1/2 inch exhaust. Very tight though, but with a few adjustments it was fine. On the front i would max out at 235's. That's just my opinion, 255's will for sure rub up front

255s on the rear and 225s up front
only reason why im asking is b/c my rear tire went flat and a new tire would cost me 97$
and i have some ****ty rims in the back with 255s on em that are MEATY good tires not dry rotted or anything... so 225s up front and 255s in the rear.. good?
