Default jacking up engine

hey guys im installing some headers and i need to jack up the passenger side on the engine for some extra room...i'v never done it before so where do i put the jack? and do i need to unbolt both motor mounts or just the one on the passenger side? thanks guys

Unbolt both motor mounts, either the two big nuts or the 4 small bolts.

Then a block of wood across the rear of oil pan

you can put a block of wood between the jack and oil pan.

i put the wood under the oil drain plug and it made my oil pan squish.

I jacked mine up from the tranny. That way you dont have to worry about denting the pan.
