Default 95 gt 5.0

need help, my car doesnt always start, its turns over but doesnt start, i tryed to replace my distributor but nothing, same problem, any ideas, when i was on the freeway i was going about 60mph and when i went to give it gas my rpms went to 0 and it was like i was out of gas, but my car never turned off or died, and about 3 seconds later my rpms went back to normal.......someone help

i think i might not be getting fuel, and i checked the distributor but its fine, how do i check if im getting fuel, i seen the valve stem in the engine, and i pressed it and gas came out, but im still lost

try putin in a new fule pump in the gas tank. and check the fule filter

Are you kidding? Change the pump then the filter before verifying fuel pressure! This is some of the worst advice I have seen here. Throwing money at it and hoping it's going to get fixed, is just wrong.

If you believe it is fuel you need to verify it, you have to get a fuel pressure gauge and connect it to the fuel rail. You will want one with a long enough hose on it so you can tape it to the windshield. Start and drive the car and record your pressure when you have the problem. Your base pressure should be approx. 39 psi at idle. Also when the car doesn't start, did you listen for the fuel pump?
