Default tire question

will i have any problems if i run different tires in back than front? i mean like nitto 555 out back and regular street tires in front.

the main thing is keep radial/radial or bias-ply/bias-ply

when you do bias-ply on the back and radial skinny in the front, it'll get hairy and even worse w/ no quads and sway bars

You'll be fine, people mix and match front/rear tires all the time. My suggestion is stay away from the 555 and just get the 555Rs. I've known severeal people with the 555s and after a year of use they become garbage.

ok thats what i was thinking that it would work but wanted to ask, and it was the 555rs i was thinking about i gusse i just forgot the r.

You will like the 555R, it's a great street/strip tire. I wish they were as reasonable in 18" sizes as they are in 17s, i'd buy them again in a second.
