ok don't get your tities in an uproar*L* every thing in making horsepower is debatable.....like you need heat in the engine but need to pump in cold air and have a big rad to keep the engine cool*L*

I'm glad I got people talking about this. Anyways, did you all not see how I explained that given the (Piston pin force multiplied by the number of cylinders) divided by the mass of the car, you can get how fast and quick your car is? All that will affect it from here on out is the final drive ratio. I bet if you look at the gear and final drive ratios for the Enzo, they will be shorter than those of the Z06 or Viper SRT10. You dont need HP to figure it out. When you change your HP, you get that changed HP from a torque reading, because HP is a product of torque, so any time you change HP, youre really changing the torque. Anyways, its fun to talk about this, and to see your reactions.</P>

What about the drag inside the motor,or the parisitic loss through the drivetrain??It doesn't matter how much force is pushing down on the piston pin if it's not getting to the tires, thats why people race at racetracks and not engine dynos.
