Default Spout ???

hey real quick does anybody know were a spout connector is on a 95 5.0...??? any help we r trying to time my car....and it says to disconnect the spout connector... please help...

Under the distributor, there's a wire(s) with a grey plastic thing on the end. That's the spout connector, pull that off, do your timing, then put it back in.

no it ain't, i have already checked with a bunch of guys and they say it has 2 wires and is located on the fire wall somewhere... very reliabe sources 2 but yet they can't find it....

shouldnt it be right behind passenger headlight, kinda like a little plug in plastic connector, on my old truck thats where it was. just a guess

Dude, trust me, the spout you need to unplug to do your timing is right next to the distributor. New25.0 is right about it being a plug in a plastic connector, but on a 5.0 Mustang, it's right next to the distributor.



EDIT: I just saw that you said it was a 95, so it might be in a different location, but on the fox bodies it's right next to the distributor.

I have to agree with the masses here. We all have mustangs we all have set our timing. We all know that the spout connecter is by the distributor. Why is there still any question?

yea ....all the people tell me that , that is the plug if u have a 93 an older stang but the 94 and up is different... i heard they r usually located close to the cpu...on the fire wall.... sooo i'll have to get my friends dad to check at the dealership...
