ok, on the bottom of it, there is 2 plugs, i took out the one closest to the firewall and added a brass 90* on it for the pcv.(*note* you need to take out some of the bolts that hold on the plate thing there to be able to screw in the fitting)

i used the plug from there to plug the top of the 3 holes on the back of the intake. I have one small fitting, and one big fitting, the big one supplys the vacuum tree, and the little one goes to the fuel pressure regulator, I have a "t" fitting to splice in the heater controls so the heater works.
I dont have any emissions hooked up and dont supply vacuum anywhere else.
I hope this helps

apparently im not to that point yet so i kinda wanna take this one step at a time....on the back of the lower intake there are two 3/8 inch holes, i was told by one guy at edelbrock to put two pipe plugs there but now im getting told by another guy at edelbrock that thats not right....are they both supposed to be plugged off or just one? should one have some sort of hose fitting on it?

The (2) 3/8" holes in the lower intake on the back ....... go into the coolant passages.
Plugging them is correct. You can get the plugs at HomeDepot in the brass plumbing section.

There is no hose or fitting that goes there.

On my stock lower intake there was a fitting that went there on the left hand side, I'm supposed to plug both of them off?

i plugged the back two on mine, i dont use them. but i still have heat so i capped just the coolant hose that runs from the hard line off the lower manifold up to the TB on the soft coolant line. so i dont run coolant up to the egr. i think thats what you're refering to.
