The recommended plug for the Edelbrocks is an Autolite 3924. I'm sure what the series the Delco's are but I assume they are incorrect for the Edelbrock head if they were in GT-40 heads. The plugseatis different if I remember correctly.

what happends if i have a bad valve??? ok so the car feels alot more powerfull but no so much at around 2000 as like 2600 i was thinking maybe because i ahve 3:08s in the rear and when i put the 373s in it will fix the power range

haah yea o yea before i realized the number 7 wire wasnt alll the way on the distributor...it was arking out the otherday so i replaced it but my dad must have not snapped it down all the way and the plus i pulled out ( number 5) looked fine

ok the heads were bought from a guy who never used themm...dad inspected them and did the valve adjsutment( setting to 0 lash) heads have porting and valve job by hbr performance...they are edelbrock performer rpms i belive my dad said...if theres a bad valve whats that mean lol

Ok your working with stud mount (RPM's), did you measure for correct pushrod length and rocker geometry? 0 lash, did you preload the lifter? Bad valve, dead cylinder. But if they were inspected how would you have a bad valve. How were they inspected? Were they taken apart andhad everything measured?
