The recommended plug for the Edelbrocks is an Autolite 3924. I'm sure what the series the Delco's are but I assume they are incorrect for the Edelbrock head if they were in GT-40 heads. The plugseatis different if I remember correctly.

what happends if i have a bad valve??? ok so the car feels alot more powerfull but no so much at around 2000 as like 2600 i was thinking maybe because i ahve 3:08s in the rear and when i put the 373s in it will fix the power range

Still might not be the right seat type. Replace them with Autolite #3924. BTW, Accel plugs are junk!

You have not described anything about this build. Heads, new used, performer, RPM, or other? If they are new I would sure hope there isn't a bad valve. Used, Didn't you inspect them. As for the power at that rpm, hard to say not knowing what other parts you are dealing with. One thing does come to mind though, did you measure for proper pushrod length and correct rocker geometry.

Ok your working with stud mount (RPM's), did you measure for correct pushrod length and rocker geometry? 0 lash, did you preload the lifter? Bad valve, dead cylinder. But if they were inspected how would you have a bad valve. How were they inspected? Were they taken apart andhad everything measured?
