yeah, for the past 6 months or so only the defrost would work. it stays on defrost in every position except off. with summer commin up, and with me livin in texas, it'd be great if i could fix this

anyone know what broke and how i would go about fixing it?

I had a similar problem with my 95 GT. For me, problem was a broken vacuum line under the hood. look under the hood and by the firewall should be some little black hoses on the driver side. There will be this thing that has a bunch of vacuum lines coming out of it and if you look closely, one of them should say A/C i think (If not, its probably the skinniest line) Trace that and check if its broken or disconnected. On my car, I traced it over to the passenger side and there was a T-connection that had broken.

That should be the fix, but either way let us know. Good luck.[8D]

i went out there, and i found where the vacume should be connected, and i found a little line that i think is the right line, but when i put it back in it didnt make a difference. im thinking that there has to be no leaks for it to work at all, right. and, where does that little line go? the one that i found went over to the passenger side and into the firewall. do i have the right line?

That's the one I had a problem with. When you traced it over to the passenger side, before you get to the firewall, there should be a connector, I think it was shaped like a T, but not sure. My line was broken where it hooked up to the connector.
