The First one. Powermax 2031 is the 444225 cam that's for 1.7rr and the 2030 is 444221 that's a similar grind but for 1.6rr. I'm happy with the 2031 and my AFR 165's, it sounds decent, runs really way and makes good power. I've yet to run it at the track actually shifting where I should for best power. It's certainly not a monster cam by any means, but it gets the job done for under $200.

okay, im not looking for a monster cam, im looking for a good, streetable cam that will make good power for a daily driver, so it sounds like exactly what i want

i have no problem running 1.7 rockers, and like i said, i have an almost exact idea of what my car will perform and sound like, my friend has almost the exact same setup, but with tailpipes, and cats (im actually using his O.R H pipe)

... MJR im looking at those scorpions, and they only come in 1.6 and 1.72, what difference will the 1.72s make over 1.7?

Almost none. 1.72 is the same as 1.7 pretty much(it'll make a few thousandths difference in lift, not enough to matter). And yeah, I drive mine every day, it's a very streetable cam with plenty of bottom end and a crapload of midrange. It drives really well.

sounds like a good set up.

how easy is it to install the cam, and rockers?
(do you have to remove the intake manafold to get to the rockers/cam?)

Intake has to come off to pull the lifters to swap the cam.

Okay, im probably gonna take out the radiator, and maybe the front clip... i dont think i will have any problems, i know my way around an engine, and for the stuff i cant do, my buddy david can help with (adjusting rockers, measuring for pushrods, etc.)

On i side note, i just paypal'd 470 bucks for that intake, yay for spending 80 bucks less for things (shipping was 50, so...)

yes, like stated, my friend phil has almost the exact setup, i know how it will perform and sound, and ill be content, for now at least [8D]
