Anyone install a oil pressure switch??
I have a oil pressure switch on order along with a temp sender for the gauge. The temp seems straight forward just unscrew and screw the new one in. But the oil pressure switch I am unsure as to where it is located and how to romove it from top or bottom of car

The oil pressure sender is on the front left side of the engine just above the oil filter, it a small canister shaped piece on a 21/2"extension with a single wire lead on it. It just threads out of the extension via a hex head on the back of the canister by the thread, (1/2" I believe).

Actually just went and dug my old one out of my toolbox and it is a 9/16 wrench that you'll need so I stand corrected. Yes, at the top of the threaded fitting on the sender where it attaches to the extension is a hex head 9/16. Sorry about that man.

The sender canister itself is about 2" by 2"(not including the fittings) and tappered at the top with a single push on style wire lead. By the way, I recomend you just removed the sender where it attaches to the extesion a leave the extension, gives you a little extra clearance.
