Default Installing MSD Ignition w/MSD Boost Retard

Sorry, if this is a lame question. I had an V2 SC installed last weekend. I want to install an MSD ignition 6al. I noticed that there's a Vortech/MSD Boost retard already in place. It looks like the wiring harness for the Boost and 6 are the same. My question is, can I just splice into the existing? Thanks!

They are made to work/wire together. Check MSD's web site. You'll find what you need there.I run the same set up.

Yeah, really no luck. I checked both MSD and Vortech's site. The problem is that on MSD it says the boost controller has a "yellow" wire, which mine does not. If I knew what the alternate was for the yellow I'm pretty certain i'd be good to go.
