unequal length, yes. But you need spark plug wires with a 90° boot on the #7 cyl wire

That is exactly how I did it, no problems at all with burning plug wires.

can I buy just one wire? I just put new plugs and wires on, and a week later I got some GT40p's. Do I need to buy a whole set or can I just buy one 90* wire?

For me i just put 90 degree angles and it worked, but after time the #7 spark plug boot will get burned up. So you have to change it every 3 months i would say.

nah iv had the same wires on for 8 months on gt-40p's car is driven everyday, no burns here, just do it right and your fine
