Does the vibration go away at higher speed..... my bet is either u-joints or the shaft needs to be balanced. My old frankenstein fox would shake like hell between65 - 75mph but would feel fine anything below or above. Came down to my shaft out of balance and incorrect jerry rigged u-joints..... oh andresulted in the yoke breaking at the tail-shaft so it go a new yoke and shaft in the process.

mine shakes more as I go faster, I just don't want to keep throwing money at the car, it is a big reason I put the new trans in. It needed a new trans any way so no big deal.

U-joint is fairly cheap $15 - $20, especially in comparison to a transmission.... balancing a shaft here in Texas is$30 -$50.
Since the trans is a fresh rebuild I would go ahead and replace the u-joints, mark your shaft, so you can install it the same way, if you still have trouble, install it 90% off and re-test. If the problem continues.... well its time to think about balancing the shaft or having the rear end looked at.

That is the current plan, I just have to find a place around me that balances driveshafts if the u joints don't fix the problem. I am going to use my buddies ds first to see if it fixes my issues.

Get the FRPP alum drv shaft and new yoke if you do not have a new yoke already.

Not on my car, it does not matter where you put it in into the tailshaft.

Marking drive shaft when takeing it out why?
Mark it so it goes back in the same way when reinstalled to keep the balance. In this case marking it so that you can have a reference point to get it back to balance after each test.
