How do I tell what rear end I have?

RE: How do I tell what rear end I have?
That definitely looks to me like a stock 10 bolt 8.8 with a disc conversion. There's a possibility it could be off a T-bird, but every T-bird I have ever owned was a 5 Lug, so if that's true, I don't know what rotors it has on it. You will probably have to go down to the parts store and just play around till you find the correct sizes. I couldn't tell you if the T-birds and the Mustangs had the same size rotors.

I think it is a Turbo coupe rear end cause I'm 99.9% it's got 373's in it. I know that the '93 Cobra had disc brakes so can I put Calipers from a '93 on there? My buddy said the current calipers didn't look like his '93 Cobra calipers.

I HAVE a turbo coupe rear in the back of my car...it is four lug... The 87-88 birds were still a fox platform and 4 lug solid axle rear disc but were as wide as a sn95 housing. the 5 lug ones are the MN-12 platform and are IRS as well as 5 lug

How do I make the E-brake work? I have the '93 cables but it won't pull the caliper in. Do I have to weld the sprocket on the E-handle or something?

You sure that will work? I just read that I have to do some mods to my ebrake handle like weld the sprocket and cut a few pieces. This seems a heck of a lot easier but I just want to make sure...
