Fuel, Fire, but it doesn't run? HELP!
Ok here's the deal, I've pulled the gas tank and hot wired the pump, it's putting out 39 psi at the fuel rail. There was no power to it or the relay or the inertia switch for that matter hence the hot wire. I have spark at the plugs, and the test light shows voltage to the injectors. It will crank and run just fine if gas is poured in the throttle body through the pcv nipple. So...I'm lost. I have fire and fuel, it seems like it should run. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm a little burned out with this problem.

well the first thing you need to do is undo what you've tried to bypass and put it all back the way the factory intended it to be and troubleshoot why the fuel pump won't power up....it should briefly power up in the koeo mode and if no pip signal is seen then power is cut to the pump..pip signal is generated from stator in dizzy and amplified trough tfi and sent to ecm as an input where ecm executes output command to power up pump relay or denergize it

he's not saying that the injectors are pulsing... Those who do not understand the EFI system in our cars do not realize that the fuel injectors have a +12v constant feed to the injectors, and it is infact the ground, that is switched by the ECM
so the fact that you have +12v at the injectors, doesnt mean ****....

Yes, it will continue to run as long as gas is being poured in. I don't know if the injectors are pulsing, all I could do is chack with a test light and it showed to have voltage to the injectors. if I take out the single hot wire there will be no power at all to the fuel pump.
What happened is, I work in Brazil for 32 days on then I'm home for 25 days. I parked it may 8th- it was running fine as always. When I came home it wouldn't crank. I checked spark which was fine so I tried a little gas in the TB and it cranked right up...for a few seconds. So here I am trying to get it running, it's one of the most important things I look forward to when I come home. Also ordered new gears and a bunch of stuff this time and it won't even start. I really appreciate any help yall can give me

check fuses, hmmm odd that there's not voltage at the relay or anything.....
id say check ALL the fuses and be sure there's not one blown out before you go and trouble shoot the tfi, dizzy or the ecu.....
