trick flow h/c/i kit illegal for 95 and older.
What makes this kit illegal for the older cars (1995 @ down) and legal for (1996@ up) and is there a way around this I havea 87LXGT.I hate to waste all the time and money for my car not to pass a emissions test. Is anyone running this setup???

Who said it was illegal. Do you live in Cali? The reason it won't work on 94/95's is because of the upper intake doesn't have the bend to clear the strut tower that is needed.
But if I remember that kit may not have the provisions for the EGR system, hense it won't pass smog.. Don't quote me on that though.

yes at the flywheel... and it should be legal i was going to put it on my 88, where do you live? in most states you dont have to do an emissions test if the car is over 20 years old

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Street heads are 50-state emissions-legal for 1996 and earlier 289, 302, and 351W Fords! (CARB E.O. number D-369-1). http://www.trickflow.com/egnsearch.a...p;autoview=sku
