Pulled codes got strange results
So last night before my third run at the track my car threw a CEL so this afternoon I pulled the codes using the self test method. I got codes 82 and 66. First off 82 is SCVAC circuit failure which stands for speed control vacuum circuit failure, I have been working on EFI winsor motors since I got my permit 4 years ago and never have I heard of this circuit or what it does. 66 is MAF sensor input lower than minimum voltage. I don't know if its a problem with the sensor itself or something else. When I got the sensor it work great and never had any problems so I don't know whats up. Anybody that has experiance with the EEC-IV in the mustang I would really apprecieate some help.

RE: Pulled codes got strange results
82 - Secondary Air Bypass Circuit Failure (O) or TAB solenoid..... Code 66 would be the one that triggered the CEL..... it may have been caused by a leak in the air duct, contact problem at the connector....... or some contamination in the MAF elements. Clean MAF, check air duct for leaks, clear codes and test drive again. LUK

RE: Pulled codes got strange results
Okay so this morning I did a little wrenching and got the code 66 cleared. I was doing some research on the code 82 and it turns out that the code is for some emissions crap, which I don't have so I really don't think that I can clear it because of not having any emissions equipment. Consequently the car feels like it's running a whole lot better. I didn't notice the power loss because I was on the highway so I guess I got used to it. The throttle response and power felt non existant, after clearing the code I floored it in 2nd at 35 mph and the *** end was almost in front of the rest of the car.
