Ok right now i have a stock 93, fox!! GT.


My intention are 331 Stroker Low Compressions - Supercharged! With 100 SHOT!...


Now my tranny's second gears went out ,! It's wierd it only pop's out of second gear after the car warms up! Before that it's a perfect i even hear the click into second gear?


So i have to replace this tranny!
A) Should i buy a rebuild kit ! If so Please Specifie which one & why
B) Buy a whole new tranny, if so which one & Y?.. And it has 2 spec my hp after buildup.
C)F**** the tranny!

well i'm guessing you have a std tranny. so i'd say go with a tko 600 imho. i have one in my fox and it shifts awesome, can hardly tell the difference between the t-5 and that in the smoothness of the shifts, as far as the feel of the shift there is a difference, the tko has a more positive engagement feeling. i will never get a t-5 rebuilt or anything.

with a power adder I like Auto's, C-4 or a well built AOD if you got the $$ for one.

Hey guys Im looking to swap out my T45 for a T56 ...Is it much work / mods? ... Im pushing 500 RWHP if I rebuild my t45 would it handle it?

Pull your transmission, ship it to Gordon Levy, and let him build it up for you. It will be plenty strong enough, and bolt right back in.

The TKO/600 is a great trans. But it's expensive, heavy, larger than stock, and takes a differant clutch disc and output shaft.
