Default Restoring my Car, where do i start?

I have an 84 mustang 4 barrel-carburated, 5 speed stick shift with a 302 motor and i'm trying to restore it. I don't have a shop and am limited with what i can do because i live in apartment complex so i can't have a motor lift sitting around or parts. What can i do for the time being until i move if i want to fix up the car. I recently put in spark plugs, wires, clutch. I'm a novice at fixing and rebuilding cars but i would like to save money and do it myself and time isn't a big factor because i have another car that i drive where the mustang is just a project car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

84, nice choice haha. Pics?

What kinda mileage does it got?

Are you looking to do performance as well?

I would start by rebuilding/replacing the carb and converting to true dual exhaust.

Depends on if you want to be noticed if you should dump some money into looks or not. I would go with the usual stuff that gets overlooked. check/replace brakes, brake hoses, check vacuum lines, make sure your old wires are not touching/rubbing anything if so, put some new wire loom protector in, check your rear end and drive shaft, check tire rods and ball joints, and then lube everything up. If you want fast, a re-gear in the rearend to something like 4:11 or 4:55 should make it very snappy, but will suffer some on the top end. But being a project car, it don't sind like it gets driven down the interstate at 80 mph everyday.

Keep us updated on the progress!

Well, the body is pretty rusted up so i'm trying to focus on the engine for now because i may get another body in the near future. It has about 120k miles on it.

LOL, it's kind of apparent. You were parked in a no parking zone when you took that pick. hehe
