Default adjustable roller rockers

hey guys i am currently using a set of adjustable roller rockers that have the locking nuts with the allen key and rocker girdles, I adjusted the rockers so thay you can barely turn the pushrod and tighened and locked them and they seem to constantly adjust themselvs. I know that they have to be checked constantly but this seems to be a little rediculous, every day they start ticking and i have to tighten them, anyone ever used them and have any advice? Thanks.

some rockers are just noisey!! live with it!! my comp pro magnums are!! and you tighten them down until o lash is reached then 1/4 to 1/2 turn from there, I use the tdc method to adjust each rocker on each cylinder, they don't adjust themselves!!! to set it and leave it!!! hydraulic roller cams don't need the valvetrain adjusted once set up hydraulic pressure in the tappets do just that

The rocker tip will move back and forth across the tip of the valver. That's normal. That's also why you use guide plates on the push rods, to keep everything in the right place.

Go to the comp cams web site. They have an excellent instruction sheet on adjusting your rocker arms.

set the allen, dont let it move, then just crank the **** outa the lock nut. it shouldnt move. if anything it would get tighter. if it loosens up then somethings wrong.

i know how to properly set a rocker and what it should feel like. My problem is that they loosen while driving. I will check out the comp cams website though.
