Default heads/cam question

In the next couple weeks my stang (1990 LX) will be going into the shop for new piston rings, bearings, etc. Right now I have GT40P heads and an E-303 cam. I was thinking of getting some work done to my heads and possibly a new cam while the engine was apart. My car is my daily driver and it rarely sees the track so my question is, should i port/polish/clean my P heads or maybe look into a new set of heads? And what about the cam. Is the E-303 fine or is there something "else" out there that i could pick up to switch things up? The rest of my mods are as follows:

explorer intake, full exhaust, 3.73's, sub-frame connectors, pullies, cai.

And i'm not looking for a new race motor, just some little upgrades for the heads/cam.

Thanks!

keep the P heads, clean them up if you want to, swap out the E-303 for a comp cams XE276HR, and run your 1.6 rockers on them. I would strongly suggest getting new valve springs however.

Dont bother with underdrive pullies

Is porting/polishing/cleaning the P heads a "quality" upgrade for the P's? Also, the E-303 cam seems to have a pretty decent lope to it, how will the 276HR cam sound compared to each other?

if emissions are not a constraint for you I'd look at comp xe series cams for a decent out of the box cam

Emissions are no big deal for me. You have a particular cam in mind for me?
