And that is what its called: Simple Green, can you buy it at any auto store, well dont laugh at me but at Costco they have this stufff called "Degreaser" and it is environmental friendly also, it works nicely but Im wondering if this simple green is better, I guess Ill have to try it. That is what I was my engine with.

Well I want to be a mechanic also, Do you get pretty good $$ working for Ford 89?

Actually I started at an auto parts store a LONG time ago. I started as a cashier (hehe), worked my way to parts counter, then to Asst Manager / Part Pro in the 2 1/2 years I was there. I was ASE certified in parts and I had every training course, seminar available at the time... from OBDII classes to general parts knowledge. While some people can "swap parts" and not know anything about what they are swapping other than what it looks like, I learned the ins and outs of what parts do, look like, failure symptons, and how they operate BEFORE I learned to change them. In addition I often worked in the evenings turning wrenches at a local garage where I split half the labor charge with the owner. I have done and can do virtually anything and everything to a vehicle. My experience is limited though with tranny and body work, other than replacing parts. There are few things, mechanical or electrical, that I have limited knowledge and experience at.

My friends had Mustangs, so it was only natural that I took a liking to them as well, and after seeing all their mistakes and made all mine, its pretty easy to learn fast. While I don't have the hours of wrenching in that vfast has, I do have a solid understanding of how things work and why.

Chew on thatdaddy

lol same here i learned from the mistakes my buddies made and myself. there's like 5 kids with 5.0's and once a month there is a 5.0 shootout at the track we go to and its awsome. i only made it to 3 races all year because i built the motor after the july shootout. and the last one was a non-points so hopefully i will be better off. i also had 2 switch classes after the motor was built. i made it to the june, july. then october 2nd was the non points and i switched to drag radial.
