Default 14 sec range

I was wondering if a have enough mods to push my 1991 mustang gt auto into the 14 sec range. I have bbk shortie headers, off road pipe, flow masters. Also cold air intake, 9 mm wires, new distrubter, coil pack, under drive pullys, 3.73 in the rear end. 65 mill throttle bodie, advance the timing, shift kit and a new fuel pump. Let me know what you think. THANKS

with it being an auto 4.10 gears are more optimal and a properly chosen stall convertor to rocket it off the line would be a sure fire 14 sec combo but as you are it still should be such driven correctly

you should get there fine.

my car ran a 16.1 with alot more mod's then yours (im at 5900ft elevation)

i looked up a calculator to tell me how fast i would run at sea level and it says mid 14's

to back that up, i sprayed a baby 50shot, and ran a 14.2 last week, witch equals a low 13 at sealevel.

so i think its very possible!

more gear, stall converter, shift kit, sub frames, sticky tires and some heads you'd probably hit the 13.0-13.4 mark.

anywhere from 380 to 500. i dont know anything about brands or whatnot....but i'd say like a 3500 stall would be good. i might be wrong though.

allows the engine rpm to rev higher before torque convertor engagement, you want 14's the easy way...ditch the aod and put a 5 speed in and it a heart beat you'll be in low 14's to high 13's

stalls are expensive to install if you pay someone to do it, as they have to pull the tranny.

cheap way to get into the 13's would be gears, i recomend 4.10 gears. 373's are good, and not to much different from 4.10's, but the more aggresive gears really wake this transmission up.

to be 100% honest, i think your best bang for the buck would be to set your car up for nitrous.

i cut a half second off my 60ft from a 50 shot, and 2 seconds off my ET

thats not realistic for most ppl, becase im at very high elevation.

but a 100-125shot of nitrous (if your car is set up for it) would prob take 2+ seconds off your et, i would bet if your car was set up a bit better, you could get high 12's with it.
