94 Mustang GT - What To Add?
Whats going on people? I just bought a 1994 mustang Gt conv. and I would really like to go ahead and start modding the car. The first thing I wanna do is replace the old stock speakers with new ones and add an amp. Since my car has the Mach 460 audio system, which I've heard is a big pain in the a** to change I would love any and all help. Besides the audio system I would love to add an exhaust system, cold air intake, a short shifter, and new gauges. Any suggestions for any of those parts? Also any other parts you guys think I should add feel free to add. Thanks a bunch.

speakers are easy, just take off the door pannels and change the speakers, same with rear, u dont need an amp, because they came with factory amps, next i would get some headers and exhaust, then cold air, get a short throw shifter, and 3.73 gears, also get the MSD ignition stuff, with the 6A box and wiring harness.

i know how to change the speakers, but once i added a new cd player to the car the amps are no longer connected and there is no bass at all. i was told by a auto store employee that i would need to re-wire the entire car if i wanted to add an amp to the new speakers.
EDIT:also what brand of aftermarket parts do you suggest for all that you listed?

If i were you the first thing i would do is GEARS and then a short shifter so u don't miss a shift. i would recommend pro 5.0 for the shifter and then screw exhaust use that money for some heads since u will notice a horsepower increase from those over exhaust.

crutchfield sells oem rewiring harness so you might find what you are looking for there and with modding your car change the rear gears first it will make your car feel like it just gained 50 more hp
