Default REDUCED RPM’s
Friends:

My 94 Mustang 5.0 is not able to reach normal RPM's

When Ideling it is fine but when driving the RPM's do not go up to the levels it used to.

Symtoms-
- Reduced RPM when pressing gas pedel while in gear

- 'Check Engine' light going on.

- Small tugging while accelerating.

Can anyone help?Thanks in advance.

I would go and buy a code reader for $35 you can't go wrong. Be sure to buy the kind that gives the code numbers, not the ones which make you count flashing lights.<IMG src=smileys/smiley21.gif border="0">

lotsa things can cause it, from what vfast said to clogged cats, run the light and see what code its throwing up
