Well, let's see.
Could be.....
T-stat
clogged radiator
cooling fan issue
head gaskets
not enough coolant in the system

What have YOU checked?

just to start

if you've pegged the gauge a few times it very well could have bad head gaskets now...but start easy..how are all cooling system components like pro50sc stated????

as soon as i start it up, it just starts cooking, i checked the coolent, its not that, at one time the radiator did leak and i put that bar stop leak in it, i thinks thats wat it is called. its not the fan because as soon as i start it up its spinning, i think i might need a new radiator.

Well just because you checked the coolant doesnt eliminate that.. you could have an air pocket in the system like the upper hose.. squeeze the upper hose while the t stat is open and get that out of there.

Unless, of corse, youre experienced and you already did that. In which case, Im sorry. haha

Bars stop leak is a great quick fix on a car you are not going to keep. It will seal a leak but it will also close of tight passages after time. sounds like you might not be flowing well. also just because the fan tusn does not mean that the fan clutch is working right.
