Default 5.0L 302cu.in. 1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra

I need help. The vehicle has been sitting for a long-time and later I want to rebuild the motor. So what would be some good stuff to put into it for better performance? Any input is appreciated as it is my first car.

I am suprised most people overlook the Mustang II.

I will get some pictures of it up soon. It is black and orange, and most of the decals stuff are gone, except for the stripes. It has no rust.

I am trying to buy my brothers King Cobra, his is white w/blue stripes and it has T-tops

Mustang II's are awesome just because they seem to be so scarce. The king cobra is definately a sweet looking car. Do you have any pics of your brothers king cobra?

they are really rare. they were the best-selling mustang ford ever produced.

they are so rare because people didnt think that they were worth anything, many of them didnt even have a V8, and people thought of them as a regular car than a mustang. they are unfortunately highly overlooked in the world.

It is hard as hell to get parts for them, because no parts catalog has that year. they skip right over 1974-1978. Most see the Mustang II as just a modified Pinto. but they original Mustang is just a rebodied Ford Falcon.
