Nitrous is a MUCH cheaper alternative and can achieve the same pwer levels.

well i aint gunna be able to go too big of a shot cuz i gotta drive this car everyday an i dont plan on selling it anytime soon

Cool, another AOD convertible guy! I thought I was alone out there. I would not go any larger than a 150 shot on a stock motor or any street use engine for that matter. Anything more than that you will have to retard timing and run ultra premium fuel (100+octane). Plus a fairly stock 5.0 motor with 150hp of nitrous equates to 450+lb feet of torque. Unless you have the traction forget about needing more power. Your AOD should hold up ok but definitely go with a shift improver kit and a higher stall NON Lock up converter. The weak link on AOD's is that lock up input shaft that engages in 3rd gear. Avoiding that should allow it to live a bit longer.
