Biggest/Best tire on 10 holes
Hey guys wondering how big of tire you can get away with on these wheels? Was looking at new MT et street radial...but might go Nitto's and try to save the tranny. LOL. What have you guys ran/liked? Thanks

i wouldn't waste money on nittos, go with et streets.
10 1/2" is a bit wide but will work, so the 255/50's are ok, but they will run narrower on that wheel
the ponies are a better option or just find 2 more ponies so they match when you run the tires
there is no comparison to the mickeys, and you won't hurt your trans, just don't do 5k launches... keep it about 3000
or use bias ply et streets and get 26 x 8 w/ some tubes

thanks for all the info guys....yeah I have a set of pony's too....just wanted to run the 10 holes keep it orig.....when they are super clean. Pro50 I like the pic above? Thats a drag tire but the Et streets are pretty much the same huh? These are the older foam type et streets? What do you think about their new drag radial? Think I could go 255/50 or 265/50What do you guys think is best sticky street tire that can be ran on 10 holes? In other words what tire and size would you get....Im new to tire game as you can tell.....LOL

I like the M/T drag radials but had great sucess with the BFG Drag radials because they were first to hit the market. I don't like the Nittos. You can't get those things to hook in out humidity if you coated the track in supe glue. When it comes to raw hook with big power I like the BFG. For overall use I like the M/Ts
On that wheel for own personal use I'd use either the M/T or BFG Drag radials in a 235/60/15. While the tire sounds narrow I've hooked a 3900 pound All steel body Chevelle that put out over 600 lbs of torque off a 2400 stall covnverter and foot brake hard enough to get both front wheels up on a BFG drag radial that was only 3/4 of an inch wider in tread width.

IMO, if you're gonna mainly use these for the street, I would def go w/ Nittos. They will last the longest, and can hook well at the track. I ran mine for 3 years, got about 13K out of them. You won't get near that w/ the other 2 competitors. it really boils down to the street to strip ratio for the tire choice. You can get a nitto to hook, they just have to be smoked a lil more than the others.

i run 275-50-15's on them w/ no issues w/ bfg drag radials- i feel the mickey's are a tad better
