cfm gain from 3 angle valve seats
i have a set of gt40p heads and was wondering how much of a cfm gain would be achieved if i had the valve seats ground for three angles? i have ported them according to the diyporting website and will be using ferrea f6000 racing valves. thank you
also how much should i pay to have the seats ground for the three angles?

3 angle valve job is pretty much standard, a good one will yield better flow capabilities but a 5 angle would be competition material as far as cost??? depends on who does it and their ability and reputation

Make sure the guides are up to the task. I charge 220.00 for this service. When you are all done you will have 700 dollars (valves, guides, seats, springs, labor) and hours of your own work tied up in a pair of boat anchors. Lap the old valves in and run them until you can buy a set of good heads.
