i took my 5.0 for it's first highway spin with me behind the wheel. and almost immediately i see the gas gauge go down slowly. i've heard stock 5.0 get 17city and 24hwy. what are some suggestions. O and i was cruising between 65 and 70

if you see your gas gauge physically dropping that quick Einstien, then you got a huge leak and should see the trail behind you.......run a koer test and see if any rich codes come back, dirty maf, bad FP reg, bad o/2's are just some things that'll cause a rich condition

What kind of mods on the car? A carbed 347 with 456 gears and a C6 Trans that would be good. A 302 with all factory stuff it would be bad.
