Default TPS settings

The gasket on the upper intake (stock intake) of my car was cracked, and so I replaced it. Earlier however when i was trying to figure out why it was idling like crap I adjusted the idle screw thinking it would help it idle higher without stalling. Did I throw off the factory TPS settings by doing this? If so how can I get it exactly back to the factory settings. I turned the screw back, but I doubt i got it exactly right.

base idle changes should be done with the IAC disconnected.

to adj. the tps you need a multi meter and the factory setting is .6 to 1.01 volts on the green wire.

Having that adjuster screw tighter or looser doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing. Only thing is, if you adjust it to correct a malfunctional part you won't know until something really bad happens because you are not necessarily fixing the issue, but bypassing it temporarily.
Also, on Aftermarket throttle bodies the manufacturers have the screw set at nothing so when you install one of those you always have to adjust it anyway to the best setting.

Usually the lower intake manifold gaskets need replaced as well. Check for a vac leak, dont touch the idle screw, you didn't hurt anything.
