I've replaced the pump and the pressure hose of my power steering pump now and I noticed that it had been whining a little much around corners, so I went to bleed the system and after turning it to lock a couple times I noticed there was a big puddle underneath the driverside mount of the rack/where all the hoses go into the rack. It don't think it's the fittings, as they don't look wet.

iS this an indicator that my rack is also bad now? The car had been run for quite a while without steering fluid due to a leak.

it could be just the bellows

when replacing or reinstalling the hoses that go into the rack there is a small and a slightly larger nylon thin sealing washer that goes on each hose end fitting they are white, call ford and they will know what you need
