Back from Tuner (420hp/440tq)
Whats up Guys, just got my car tuned with a few changes she made 420hp/441tq ...I need to make a decision regarding the next step....I had ****ty tires and it would light up the tires in third rollin on it....I was like bad...lol....but then I got new set of rubber it hooks now...."its ok." I started runnin lean on top end...so first things first I'm guna upgrade fuel pump. But thats not the ? I'm not sure what to do next option(s) are below. Any input would be appreciated.
1. I do better heads/cam run my aftercooler (all this is a lot of work)
2. spray 100 shot dry
3. Just do a T-trim swap with 4" inlet piping. Re-tune.

Those would be good numbers for a 302. However, they seem a bit low for a 331, but still okay. What's the run down of your mods again? You could save money by getting your heads ported and a custom cam. A TrickFlow Stg-2 is another good blower cam, especially for the 331. It can go deep into the 500rwhp number.

The cam is unknown sucks....yeah the numbers are a bit low.....I think mostly due to head and cam combo....cam pulls a s**t load of vac at idle...and the graph looked kinda like it fell off on the top end, I think its small....heads are pocket ported. Everybody I spoke to about these heads said they are worse than gt40p's I was like what the hell? I guess the newer holley heads are better but??? Again this is all hearsay but when you keep hearing it over and over lol....I know what "needs" to be done. New heads and a comp 274hr cam or custom. would put me where I need to be....I just reeeeeally dont want to do the work...I've done 3 back to back HCI swaps....Im like NO MORE...for a while...haha...anyways Im hoping with the T-trim swap I can pull a bit more out of it maybe that will be ok "for now" that will take 30 min to swap...

I know what you mean with doing another H/C/I swap. Did it once, and loathed it. Obviously, the heads and cam is what's holding you back. Couple of Q's. What intake manifold are you running? Are you running a powerpipe? Are you running a Meth kit of some sort? I think doing the T-trim would yield some pretty stout numbers. Unfortunately, it's not the best street blower as it doesn't really make any boost until 4000+. It's a race blower. However, if you don't mind that, it could be a good option.

Yeah Im really trying to avoid head/cam swap so if I can get close to 500 mark another way I will do so then in 10 years I will swap out and run some sort of aftercooler. Not running a power pipe, Just the 3" dryer hose intake part of the kit...lol...Im running a fox lake holley systemax intake. No meth inj. or anything like that...just pump gas. Yeah that 4k+ may not be so bad....my graph now peaks at 4,000 then drops pretty bad...let me see if I can upload the graph.
Oh yeah the 100 shot would be easiest...why not it will serve as "cooler" sametime...LOL!!!!!!!!!!

How much boost does your gauge read? Your car should be screaming to 6000+ rpm. What plugs are you using? What are they gapped at? Sorry for the questions. If I were you I'd get a $99 UPR Boostmaster pipe and an AFM Meth kit for $189. Then get it tuned. I am pretty sure you'll make some good numbers.

Hey no worries thanks Im all for constructive critizim...lol....ok so power pipe I will do that....is the UPR boostmaster same as AFM's power pipe? Oh and meth kit? Oh gauge reads 10lbs...I think it said 10.5 on graph....I shift at 5,500 cuz AFR starts going lean...
