yes indeed. parts are going to a freind in a machine shop this afternoon. the bottom end is a scat forged kit with KB pistons. appears decent parts were bought with a lack of understanding of how to assemble them correctly. lots of things left for me to wonder about, cam was not degreed so i doubt PTV clearence was ever checked. rocker geo is close but will recheck it also. frustrating for sure. lol

That wear is not causing any knocks. Like I was saying on the forum, thats cheek contact, not enough radius on the bearing, from those pictures anyway.

Just made a phone call and scat rotating assy use the chevy journal on there 331/347 stroker kits. So it appears that it is the correct bearing< but i will check it this evening. Thanks for the heads up on a possible issue Woodys.

Well I use about 60-75 scat stroker kits per year and they are 2.123 ford journal, you got an eagle crank, they are the ones that use 2.100 chevy journals on the 331-347 stuff

Here is a picture of the scat named on there cranks. Eagle uses 2.100 chevy journals and that is the CB1227 bearing. All the windsor strokers like the 408-418-427 use a 2.100 chevy journal and the 1227 bearing.
