Default brake ??

ok so i went out a bought some calipers for a 91 mark8 and pads also and i cant figure out how to put the clip on that goes on the pad that attaches to the piston

ok that is what i thought and would that little tab that sticks out would be the thing that makes noise when the pads need to be replaced

THE V portion fits inside the piston/clips in, it shouldn't contact rotor at any point

ok damn it i cant get it in the piston and it stay in there every time i put it on it falls off

I've done ones simialar to those before, I've had to bend the clips so it grabs the pad backing surface tighter
