damn adder, be nice. haha. mine came the same way. i put the regular clamp on that it came with and mines holding up just fine. no sense in welding it. cuz if you need to remove it, itll be a lot easier. dont worry about buying another one

my h pipe is two piece and i don't have a clamp or welded, and it doesn't leak either.(atleast not enough to hear/worry about). And it makes it nice on the adjustment side of things as well.

Sounds like the overwhelming response is "it will be fine". I didn't want to install it and then find out it is problematic. Isn't that was the forum is for? Sorry to be such a "****ing baby".

Mine was welded when I got the car but now I have a short x-pipe and sold the welded H locally to a friend.

I'd put a clamp on it, get it exactly where you want it, and then put one good tack on it.
